How should i wear an oversized hair bow?

no, i'm not punk or trying to look like lady gaga. I just have a hair bow from 11 Christmases ago that means a lot to me. How do i wear it so it looks modern and sophisticated? and what should i wear? It is Christmas colors, white, green, and red (and also resembles a Mexican flag lol)
