Is it mean to play thi april fools joke on my husband?

telling my husband im pregnant with twins and he said april fools? and i kept playing out and said no and sent him a fake pic of an ultrasound. i only kept it going for like 10 minutes cuz ive had a few miscarriages so i didnt wanna make him believe it for too long and i cant just sit around and cry every day about what i lost. ive done enough of that. so i thought id make it into april fools. now im not sure if hes mad or not he just said youre mean and that was it so idk...he seemed excited when i told him he said "yay! :)" so now i feel bad! i didnt think he would take it in the wrong way..was that really bad of me to do that or just a funny april fools joke? thanks
