What happened to "Platinum, 106.7" and Ron Chapman?

One day they are there, next day they are gone. Does anyone know, or where I can read the details of its demise? Did Ron leave on his own, or was he canned? Was he financially involved? What's to become of Larry Dixson, and the other DJ's?
