What is a primary care physican's obligation to reporting results received from referrals?

My primary care physician has referred me to two specialist. I have been receiving treatment from this internist for several years and the two different specialist I've been sent to for two years. It seems to me that no one is communicating test results to one another and as a result, I have had an allergic reaction to the medications I've been receiving. Who is at fault for this lack of communication and who's responsibility is it to clear my reaction. I've articulated my concerns and have been taken off of certain medications, but I'm still experiencing an allergic reaction.

HELP, My 2003 Nissan Frontier 4 Cyl, 5 speed truck is making a hissing noise only when the temprature is over 85 degrees. I took it to a drive shaft and axle shop, they lifted the truck and everything checks out ok with the drive shaft. The noise will not duplicate in the air. To me it sounds like the noise is coming directly from the middle of the truck. This is so wierd. Can anyone help????

My fish tank is cloudy and there are bubbles at the top formed by the filter... need advice.?

Ok, I have a 36 gallon fish tank with 2 small bala sharks and 2 small pictus catfish (not grown to full size yet)... i feed them brine shrimp, but the extract food gets cleaned out by the filter mostly. I started the tank up 3 days ago, and it was doing fine till just today. Within the last 30 hours i have run ph tests and put tablets to stabilize the correct ph levels. The ph is currently 7.0, and i have put 2 different types of water chemicals to try to keep the water non cloudy, but its not working. Just within the last 10 hours there has been bubbles forming at the top of the tank (coming from the filter)... is this all normal? I am thinking about getting an ammonia tester, and a couple 'sucker fish' to keep my tank cleaner. Any help or advice would be appreciated.

If you can't get these two to do this my other thought was that maybe your mom can get your grandma situated in the wing where she works. She could still be with her every work day and still watch and take care of her. This would work both ways with your mom and your aunt who wants her in a home. Awakening strange signs?

This has happend to me just once or twice in my life yet. I was in the mode of about to wake up but all my attempts to wake up failed. I remember, I had my eyes opened, so I could see anything I could even move my eyes both horizontally and vertically but couldn't make any response on the outter area. I was unable to move my arms and legs. Neither my whole body was unable to move although I tried thousands of attempts to do so. I felt like I was trapped in a plaster. Suddenly, I got breathing problems as I couldn't breathe in...in about a few second I got awakened. The whole situation took about a few seconds but I thought it was eternity before I finally "started" all my brain "equipment" up. Apperantly, it has a lot to do with igniting the body from standby mode. Has anyone experienced that?

Electric Fender Stratocaster Tuning problem?

I have just recently changed the strings for my Electric Fender Strat. When done, I attempted to tune my guitar with a tuner, but I encountered a problem. First, there is this metal head nut on my guitar that needs tightening and it interferes with the tuning alot. That is probably the major problem. Once it was tuned, it gets quickly out of tune, due to what I believe is the headnut. I'm not sure what it is, but it looks like this metal thing with three bolts in it, probably to keep the strings down in place. Whenever I tune the guitar it quickly gets out of tune. What could be wrong? Could I tune it with the string saddles?

My employer called me at home tonight to ask me medical questions, then pretty much suspended me until next week "to take care of my medical issues". I never asked for this time off. I own a 1996 merc grand marquis 4.6 vin w. my engine light came on and had a cylinder 8 misfire wich i could feel in the engine it was. i pulled cyl 8 plug and the plug was wet with coolant. i thought right away headgasket but the plug boot was also dripping coolant. so if the plug boot was wet with coolant as well maybe its not the headgasket. how would the plug boot get wet when the plug was still tight in the engine??? any ideas?

If you really liked the Twilight series I would try the Vampire Kisses series. It is supposed to be extremely good, not quite as good as Twilight, but still good. Is it safe to drive my truck if its blowing white smoke?

I drive a manual f350, just today i was taking a short trip to do some errands, i was on a ramp to enter a highway only in 3rd gear, i wasn't accelerating or letting off the gas and noticed the idle went down even though i wasn't letting off the gas, so i sped up and eventually shifted to 5th gear. I held the acceleration at 60mph, then noticed it started slowing itself down, and looked in the mirror and noticed white smoke coming from my pipe, when i accelerated it sped up and the white smoke disappeared. I am wondering if it is safe to drive, this just started happening today, and could it possibly be coolant getting through a cracked head gasket or problems with the turbo?

They make kiddie back packs that the kids wear on their backs w/ cute animal shapes. They have little leaders on them for the parents to hold on to. I think those are way more appropriate than the wrist and full body leashes Ive seen in years past. If you have a child that walks off, I would invest in one of those buddy packs before a traditional leash. It makes for less fuss with the kids too, especially if they are allowed to pick the animal for their new critter pack. Good luck!

17 weeks pregnant with eating problems..please help!?

Im 17 wks preg.& have been having some trouble eating when i consult the dr Im told that the baby will get its nutrition no matter what but im really concerned for both me and the baby, this morning i ate 1/2 a burrito and then i almost threw that up and when i tried to eat something else later i thre it up and havent been able to keep anythign else down, and yesterday i ate a healthy 1/2 of a turkey sandwich and then it came up and then i tried home made nacho's and cheese and that to came up too. i cant take my vitamins becausde i throw them up no matter what so i try to drink vitamin drinks which i can barely keep down. my stomach has been contracting ALOT but the dr's say its normal and they dont even check it out. i have ped out 4 times in this pregnancy and when it happens my ears begin to ring and then i cant hear anything then boom im out and when i asked the dr's about it they say nothings wrong and i think it has to do w/sugar because if i get sugar afterwards i feel fine.

I went through a faze of being utterly disgusted by it and thinking about Freud's theory about and our subconscious feelings towards our parents and feeling the need to prove to myself that there is no part of me that is capable of committing or any part of me that is sick in the head. Why isn't golf considered a physically demanding or tough sport?

Many people think golf is only old men driving around with a cart and a beer, swinging a club at a little white ball. It is very frustrating, especially to me. People are so ignorant and have no idea what it takes. I played a two day tournament (18 holes) in 105 degree heat with no clouds, walking the entire course with no caddies aloud. This takes about 6 hours, after waiting for the groups in front to hurry and finish the hole. That alone is entirely exhausting, and then you have to still be mentally able and forgot how tired you are or else you will make a bad shot. Also, good golfers do a lot of strength training. I guess this is just my little ramble, but does anyone agree 95% of the world are ignorant people who have no idea what they are talking about when saying golf is not a hard game?

My Mom is at her wits end with one of my dogs. I own two labs, both one year old. One is well rounded; the other has extreme behavior issues. The well-rounded one always obeys commands. If there is more money floating around than there is products, than the products' prices will automatically rise to balance it out. Your car payment, as you said would be raised twice the amount as it was before, but you will most likely be paid the same salary (x2), so it really wouldn't make a difference, except everything has a higher "price" than it seems necessary to be the same as the dollar value. The problem with this is that it take a very long time to completely balance out salary with expenses, yet many people think of printing more money as a solution to debt, which it is not. I live in abiggish town flat & looking for something to cuddle with.Ive had hamsters in the past but are no longer for me,i cant have a cat or dog.Ive had a rabbit but she ate through wires so my friend took her on as thought would be best. Honest Opinion On Question Involving Crosby and the Canadian Team?

Now, i have heard from the NHL radio shows, and commentators from the Hockey Olympic teams, that Mike Bab is having a hard time forming a good line with Crosby. IMO i think this might be a problem because when listening to MOST announcers...whenever crosby is on the ice...(and even off the ice) he IS the only Canadian playing for Canada. Dont you think, that maybe the veterans like Iginla, Niedermayer, The Shark line, etc. AND even some of the younger players like Toews, Getzlaf Perry are just a little mad because they are out on the ice too?! They can play just as good of Hockey for Team Canada and thier Own NHL teams, so maybe they are having trouble getting along with somebody that is labled by the NHL Media as "the NEXT Gretzky" or just the best NHL player in the league. All i know, is that would P*SS me off, playing side by side, with somebody that always gets credit for everything (which dont get me wrong, he is a GREAT player) but still, cmon, its called TEAM Canada. My guitar's broken... please help?

I have had my black squier strat that was a store model for a little under 8 months and was part of the standard strat pack. It was awesome in the beginning, but last month it fell off the stand and part of the neck hit the the edge of a wall. There was a little dent on the flat part of the neck right by part of the 3rd metal fret. It's right by the highest pitched string. The fret (still the metal part) now has a slight curve above the neck starting at the 2nd lowest string. Now there is a problem on the 1st 3 strings of the high E string (the highest one) where all 3 frets sound the same when played. The only way to stop it is to physically take the string out of the notch on the nut and slide it off so it's pressed against the side of the nut. And that's only temporary because the tension eventually snaps the string back into its notch and the problem happens again. on the 2nd highest string's 1st fret and the 3rd highest one's 2nd, there is a buzzing when played. i got a ticket for ping on a shoulder. the shoulder is used by everyone like a turning lane. when i moved here a year ago i tried turning from the lane and was almost hit every time, so i gave up and used the shoulder like everyone else. several dozen tickets at least were handed out that day for this. i know "everyone else is doing it" isn't usually a good excuse, but, later on that commute, traffic was slow on the highway and as i was driving seven miles an hour, i realized that if i was doing the minimum speed of 55, i would plow into everyone in front of me. isn't that the same? going along with traffic to avoid a collision.
