How many Republicans have ped laws against illegal immigration?

Neither party has done jack. Line item Veto would have been great, but always gets lost in Congress. The Federal Government has no place in determining how to clify marriage. This is a states rights issue to be determined by the people within those states. No party has ped laws to balance the budget. The pay go thing was ped, but as we have already seen, when one party holds the other parties feet to the fire on spending, nothing happens, except more spending. It's the media job to keep the Government honest, something sorely missing these days. When News organizations have any appearance of being "in the tank" for one party or the other, then the Media looses any credibility. Securing the borders?!? Really. We have seen NOTHING done for years. Reagen went along with the idea of giving amnesty on the plan to secure the border and reform immigration. One can see the resistance to "comprehensive reform" based on experience from the past. Until U.S. companies are taken to task for hiring illegal workers nothing is going to happen. Once that happens, illegal works will self deport...as seen in Arizona right now. Pork Barrel projects..both parties are guilty of this. Both parties talk the talk, but think it's their duty to bring home the pork to the states and areas they represent.
