What does it means when your boyfriend starts buying your personals items like; tampons.?

To is directedly at the men's opinions,okay. The other day, I told m boyfriend my period may be coming on and I needed some tampons, and he respond by saying," It's on now,you need them now." I was personally blown away because he usually gives me the money to buy them myself. Suddenly his response was different and Iam wondering guys, what do that means for me and/or our relationship.Is he trying to show me a femine side of himself, or is he up to something?
