Threatened to answer?

My employer called me at home tonight to ask me medical questions, then pretty much suspended me until next week "to take care of my medical issues". I never asked for this time off. I suffer from migraines, and recently broke my foot. I have not taken any medication at work, other than over the counter motrin and tylenol. I felt that my job was in jeopardy although, the only thing he could terminate me for was medical reasons, and the use of over the counter tylenol and motrin at work. He even went as far as to search my locker after I left today without my knowledge. Any thoughts on this and the legality of it all?
