Can anything be done about a family member driving another further into dementia?

Thats a hard one. My mother has Alz also. My first thought was getting these two to have a sit down talk with grandmas doctor as to what would be best for grandma. If you can't get these two to do this my other thought was that maybe your mom can get your grandma situated in the wing where she works. She could still be with her every work day and still watch and take care of her. This would work both ways with your mom and your aunt who wants her in a home. Sooner or later you and your mom will have to accept this might be what is best for grandma anyway. I know I am having to also.
